6. A good teachers shoul use new teaching methods to make lessons bright.

Enviromental problems

The Earth is a home to millions of different kinds of living creatures, which are linked in many ways. Together, they make up the complex world of nature. But there are different types of eco-probles, that harm them:
  • Greenhouse effect. It works like this; sunlight gives us heat. Some of the heat warms the atmosphere, and some of the heat back into space. Nowadays the air surrounding the earth has become much warmer because the heat can't go back into space. That's why winter and summer temperatures in many places have become higher.
  • World temperatures are currently rising every year. This so called global warming is caused by the buildup of gases and water vapour in the atmosphere. These gases form a layer that reflects the heat back to Earth, rather than allowing it to escape into the outer atmosphere. As the planet warms up, the water in the oceans will take up more space and water locked up in glaciers and the polar ice caps will start to melt. This could cause sea levels to rise and many habitats will disappear under water.
  • Acid rain fall when poisonous gases from power stations and vehicle exhausts mix with oxygen and moisture in the air. Acid rain poisons or kills wildlife in lakes, rivers, and forests, and damages the surrounding plant life.
There are the main problems. So I must say , that we should do all to save our World.

Work–life balance

Nowadays, it is very important to define your time for work and for your privat life. It is called "Work-Life Balance. Sociologists say that Work–life balance is the proper prioritizing between "work" (career and ambition) on one hand and "life" (pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development) on the other.
To be a perfect teacter you should spend hours working  365 days a year. And may be, it will be not anough for you. Young teachers find it difficult to have a balance in their lives becauseof  their hard work. Hometasks, projects, tests...Everything must be correct!
Steven L. Sauter, chief of the Applied Psychology and Ergonomics Branch of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in Cincinnati, Ohio, states that recent studies show that "the workplace has become the single greatest source of stress".Michael Feuerstein, professor of clinical psychology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at Bethesda Naval Hospital states, "We're seeing a greater increase in work-related neuroskeletal disorders from a combination of stress and ergonomic stressors". So we should keep our health and live right now.
Personally, I think, that we must decide what is really important for everyone. Everyone wants to be successful in career, but also we should realize that work isn't everything.
Try to find just 1-2 hours a day for you, your family, your interests and you'll see, ou will be happier! You'll see that the world aroud you is so bright and consist of not only work, but also of time just for your privat life.
It is very difficult to find a work-life balance but it is possible!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Red ribbon.

Katherine wore a red ribbon around her neck everyday. And I mean everyday, rain or shine, whether it matched her outfit or not. It annoyed her best friend Johnny after awhile. He was her next door neighbor and had known Katherine since she was three. When he was young, he had barely noticed the yellow ribbon, but now they were in high school together, it bothered him.
“Why do you wear that red ribbon around your neck, Katherine?” he’d ask her every day. But she wouldn’t tell him.
Still, in spite of this aggravation, Johnny thought she was cute. He asked her to the soda shoppe for an ice cream sundae. Then he asked her to watch him play in the football game. Then he started seeing her home. And come the spring, he asked her to the dance. Katherine always said yes when he asked her out. And she always wore a red dress to match the ribbon around her neck.
It finally occurred to Johnny that he and Jane were going steady, and he still didn’t know why she wore the red ribbon around her neck. So he asked her about it yet again, and yet again she did not tell him. “Maybe someday I’ll tell you about it,” she’d reply. Someday! That answer annoyed Johnny, but he shrugged it off, because Katherine was so cute and fun to be with.
Well, time flew past, as it has a habit of doing, and one day Johnny proposed to Katherine and was accepted. They planned a big wedding, and Katherine hinted that she might tell him about the red ribbon around her neck on their wedding day. But somehow, what with the preparations and his beautiful bride, and the lovely reception, Johnny never got around to asking Katherine about it. And when he did remember, she got a bit teary-eyed, and said: “We are so happy together, what difference does it make?” And Johnny decided she was right.
Johnny and Katherine raised a family of four, with the usual ups and downs, laughter and tears. When their golden anniversary rolled around, Johnny once again asked Katherine about the red ribbon around her neck. It was the first time he’d brought it up since the week after their wedding. Whenever their children asked him about it, he’d always hushed them, and somehow none of the kids had dared ask their mother. Katherine gave Johnny as sad look and said: “Johnny, you’ve waited this long. You can wait awhile longer.”
And Johnny agreed. It was not until Katherine was on her death bed a year later that Johnny, seeing his last chance slip away, asked Katherine one final time about the red ribbon she wore around her neck. She shook her head a bit at his persistence, and then said with a sad smile: “Okay Johnny, you can go ahead and untie it.”
With shaking hands, Johnny fumbled for the knot and untied the red ribbon around his wife’s neck.
And Katherine’s head fell off.
